Description
These wonderful trees are living in Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania. It is one of two state parks that comprise the historic site where General George Washington crossed the Delaware River on Christmas Day, 1776 and marched into Trenton, New Jersey a day later to successfully battle Hessian outposts. I caught peak color that day and this tree caught my eye.

Gorgeous autumn color! And your perspective gives a feel for how tall the tree is. Lovely capture Glenn.
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Thank you Linda. These trees are not typical, with no lower branches. Almost that time again, when green turns to gold.

There is an Airy feeling here.. of Space. It's a simple image, Glenn, but also one of grandeur. This image brings Calm .. the Timelessness that comes when we begin to grasp a sense of the enormity of Infinity, its awesomeness. { & the bright red leaves bring a lovely burst of contained energy into this time warp!} :))
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Thank you so much Connie. Your vision and writing are fantastic. I really appreciate your words. I do like this image the most of my fall images.

Hi Glenn, Gorgeous shot with those beautiful fall colors. Really like the perspective here. Things are going great here, about for you. So glad you stopped by to leave a comment. Wishing you and yours a wonderful new year. l/f
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Thanks very much Lucinda. I walked past them once on the opposite side and did not see this. On the way back I sure did. Glad you are doing well. Things are good here, especially the weather so far. Best wishes for the new year.
