Artist's Description
This is the entrance of the Ryman Auditorium as seen from the stairs leading to the balcony. The doors are open and waiting for a night of great country music. I dont know if they still use the exterior doors a short distance to the left of the doors you see here. I do know they still hold a lot of shows here and they are not all country music shows. About Glenn DiPaola
I attended the University of Rhode Island where I studied photography under Bart Parker. I graduated with a BFA in fine art photography and a minor in communications. College was always b&w work, hand-processed in the dark room, using many different cameras. It was great fun. Glenn, Awesome capture! In art the rule of three or odd numbers is played throughout this piece, perfect! FV
Glenn DiPaola replied:

I LOVE this shot, Glenn!!! What an eye you have! The shapes, patterns and dark and light tones are just awesome!!!! A real favorite! Wonderful clarity too! L/F
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Glad to hear it, thanks. I could not get away from the thought of standing here when this place was in it's prime, watching people pass through this space. I'm thrilled that there are still lots of people enjoying music here.
