In the lower left corner is a marquee next to the stage door to the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia, PA. This is America's oldest theater, located on the corner of Walnut and 9th streets. It opened in 1809
What we see in this image is the gray winter light, the bare branches and long shadows projected upon the stucco. Always changing, the side of the theater is a canvas for the life around it.
