Description
This is a macro image of a sunflower in a vase on a table. I did a series of flower close ups and did a lot of work on the variations. It surprised me how small changes could make such big differences, like becoming a metaphor for a sunrise, as the sun rises! They are great flowers.
These images, and others like it, are included in my Large Graphics Collection, a series of themed images offering dynamic impact in larger spaces.

Sitting on my kitchen counter at the moment is a packet of sunflowers seeds. A gardening show I was watching on TV said it was time to plant them. Lovely series Glenn! This one shows the fabulous detail of the centre of these impressive flowers. L/F
