Congratulations on your sale, Glenn! Wonderful B&W photo! L/f

Glenn DiPaola replied:

Thanks very much Alex. You never know what you will see in Sedona, but the odds are it will be memorable. I remember this morning.

And so that sky should be in b&w! Beautiful capture Glenn, and your use of black and white shows off the wonderful textures too. L/F

Glenn DiPaola replied:

Thanks very much Linda. Once again, BW shows a scene as only it can. No distractions. Each texture is an individual but they all add up to one. It was a very nice morning for me. I could use lots more of them.

Glenn DiPaola replied:

Love the black and white here. Gorgeous work. Hope you enjoyed your time in Arizona.

Glenn DiPaola replied:

Thanks Lucinda. I had to go with bw on this one to get the sky where it felt like it did that day. It's such a beautiful place. I did enjoy my time but I did not have nearly enough time. I did all my shooting in this area in one day. I needed a week.

Glenn DiPaola replied:

After college I worked in the photo-finishing business for many years as well as doing commercial photography. In the 80's I started to shoot only color for my artwork and never returned to the world of black & white - until 2014. I started converting my color digital images to black and white whenever I saw them as intended for bw. I believe the eye you started with does not go away. With my newest Fujifilm digital cameras, I am shooting for b&w and...
