Description
I had previously published a similar image but it was taken from the opposite side of the balcony. This image has a custom crop to give it more of a panoramic feel. That does mean it will not fit in standard frames or mattes. It's unique. This image also shows that there are no bad seats in the Ryman.
Below is some history (from Wikipedia) on this historic place so read below if you would like to learn a few facts.
"It was used for Grand Ole Opry broadcasts from 1943 until 1974, when the Opry built a larger venue just outside Nashville at the Opryland USA theme park. In an effort to maintain continuity with the Opry's storied past, a large circle was cut from the floor of the Ryman stage and inlaid into the center of the new Opry stage."

Glenn, this is a terrific presentation of a great part of country music history! One of my favourite tv series was Nashville.
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Thank you Linda. I watched that series too. When we were in Nashville it was being worked on. Saw some sets not far from Broadway. A great thing on the show was they did a scene in a hotel and it was the hotel we stayed in. The decor was specific so no mistaking it. I still have the final show on my DVR. Couldn't bring myself to say goodbye. Not yet.
