So soft and delicate Glenn, it almost looks like a painting. Wishing you a happy and healthy 2018, may good things come your way.

Glenn DiPaola replied:

Thank you very much Linda. I agree. It does have a painterly quality to it, which I like a lot. Those don't cross my path very often. A very Happy New Year to you too. All the best.

Artist's Description

This was a great find. This plant had been growing outside a window and made its way inside the building through a window frame, seeking protection from the seasonal changes in weather. Plus it found shelter in a humid room. There it sits, in Historic Smithville, NJ, looking out at the setting sun every day. Give nature a way to survive and it will find it and provide beauty to those willing to see.

This image looks great on every product I offer it on. It's a beautiful piece of nature.

In the 80's I started to shoot only color for my artwork and never returned to the world of black & white - until 2014. I started converting my color digital images to black and white whenever I saw them as intended for bw. I believe the eye you started with does not go away. With my newest Fujifilm digital cameras, I am shooting for b&w and...
