One of the beautiful hallways in the historic Tennessee State House in Nashville. Hallways are a great feature. You see them in movies all the time - often scary movies, and you have a fear to walk down them. There are people entombed in this building - could you walk down this hall at night, alone, and not feel a tingling? A little hesitation to take your next step? One of the wonderful elements in this building is the highly polished floors. It reflects those great chandeliers in such perfect ovals at times that you can get lost in them. Next thing you know your phone rings and your spouse wants to know if you are ever coming out.

I attended the University of Rhode Island where I studied photography under Bart Parker. I graduated with a BFA in fine art photography and a minor in communications. College was always b&w work, hand-processed in the dark room, using many different cameras. It was great fun. After college I worked in the photo-finishing business for many years as well as doing commercial photography. In the 80's I started to shoot only color for my artwork and never returned to the world of black & white - until 2014.
