Artist's Description
This is of course, the London Eye and a few of the cars, or pods if you will. It's a fine ride. If heights don't bother you, go for it. This is presented in a square, (1:1) format which limits my usual output options.
About Glenn DiPaola
I attended the University of Rhode Island where I studied photography under Bart Parker. I graduated with a BFA in fine art photography and a minor in communications. College was always b&w work, hand-processed in the dark room, using many different cameras. It was great fun. After college I worked in the photo-finishing business for many years as well as doing commercial photography. Nice how you've got the natural trees against the hard metal manmade structure; a super image .. {& yes, it's a super trip up the Eye} :)))
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Thank you. It was that contrast that interested me. Yes, a great ride.

Lucinda Walter
This is fabulous! Love the tree branches to frame the eye! Beautiful details! Wish I could see what the camera details are.... I haven't posted on 500 in such a long time. Been spending most of my time here! l/f
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Thanks very much Lucinda. It only did ok on 500, but I like this one. Also the one on 500 was also a rectangle, not a square. They both work. The settings are 400 iso, 1/250th @ f13, FL= 26 and taken with the 18-55.
