One of the first highly visible flowers in the springtime is found on Dogwood trees. We have both white and pink dogwoods in our area. Very pretty from any angle, in color or black and white. You can also find a black and white version of this image in my work, titled Dogwood Sky.

This is such a pretty, delicate image of the dogwood flowers, which makes for a great design. Who doesn't love dogwood flowers. L/F
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Everybody I know loves Dogwoods. This tree lived in just the right place to get great back-lighting in the later afternoon. I do love the simplicity of this one.
Kume Bryant

Beautiful work Glenn! Th empty sky shows off these lovely flowers so well. A dogwood tree is on my shopping list for the garden this winter, I was thinking of getting a pink, but this white one looks so elegant I might just change my mind. L/F
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Thanks very much Linda. I do favor the white ones. The pinks are pretty but the white ones is like an extension of winter when the snow is on the leaves. They transition the seasons in a beautiful way.
