This was a matter of timing. I have seen controlled burns before but not here and not with such a large area of visibility. What you see in this image is only a portion of the entire line of smoke that drifted from the flames.

Great shot Glenn. I'm amazed at the blue tones, around here when there's a lot of smoke it tends to browns and orange. Merry Christmas my friend. I've enjoyed viewing your gallery of wonderful photography. May 2020 bring you much happiness.
