Wow, what a great composition Glenn! And, there's marvelous light and tones in this sepia beauty! Great work!
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Thank you very much Betty. I do like how this worked out. I saw those shadows for 3 days and photographed them every day. This one, with the sepia tone applied, worked exactly as hoped for. What I also like is that it works on any scale as a print, from intimate to large format. Not every image can do that.

This, too, Glenn; an intrigue of shadow play in the light; the bristly cacti below look smugly content in their sand house ; hard lined textures & shadowed stripes softened by the gentle light ; wonderful sepia/chocolate tones .. a desert latte composition:))
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Thanks very much Connie. It was a great space out there at noontime in that bright desert light.
Marvin Spates
I love how the light and shadows mold this photo into a wonderful art work Glenn!!! LF
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Thanks Marvin. I have to say that sepia is what brought all that out. BW didn't match tones to what was appealing about it.
Laurie Search
What a fantastic composition, Glenn, and beautiful light and shadows!! Really nice tones, too!!! :)))vf
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Thanks very much Laurie. It was always nice to look at all these shadows. Strangely, I didn't see anyone else taking photos of them, yet they all had phones in their hands. Go figure.
Karen Slagle
Fabulous lines and details in this stunning sepia image, Glenn...love the SW vibe. f/l
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Thank you Karen. Not a lot of images ask for sepia but this was one of them. It worked the best.
Linda Lees
I love this Glenn! The repetition of the shadowed lines and of the cacti make a great image L/F
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Thanks much Linda. I got to look at this for 3 days and it never gets old. Always changing.
